I think we're getting closer to a root cause! I'm comparing two computers (we'll call them Computer A and Computer B). I would think if the message is still being received, then Flash Player may not be working or if it was working, then the message would not be given.

On this machine that you checked, is Flash Player working, or is the message asking to Install Flash Player being given? That way we would know if any old Flash file had not been removed. You could also check the Flash folder at C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash Open Flash and post back all files listed there. How is Shockwave Flash Object listed there? Some other IE versions will not list the version, but only list the Flash10i.ocx instead(which is that version) I have IE8 on one PC and IE6 on the other and they are listed differently.
